Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking an
Aluminum Assembler to join our team.

The
Aluminum Assembler at Frazer reports to the
Fabrication & Weld Supervisor, and is responsible for reading blueprints combined with handling various hand tools, to deliver assembled results per customer demand.

This position is expected to actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals.

Responsible for learning and reinforcing safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.


What Does a Week in the Life of the Aluminum Assembler Look Like?

  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations
  • Lay out, position, align, cut, shape, and install various aluminum components/parts to make aluminum body modules.
  • Use a tape measure, square, power drill, and other various hand and power tools, as needed.
  • Detail and attend to the finished look required of the module. Uses solvents, cleaners, adhesives, adhesive removers and other products in closed and open environments as required.
  • Read and understand blueprints, instructions and service manuals as well as verbal instructions, and related literature to accomplish required jobs.
  • Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education and Experience:


  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be detail oriented and prior aluminum modular assembly experience helpful
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Must be able to pass a postoffer drug screen.

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • 5+ years of Assembly experience
  • 2+ years of Aluminum welding experience
