Responsibilities:

  • You oversee the channels and manage the distribution of content for the Berliner Zeitung and the Berliner Zeitung am Wochenende
  • You coordinate the distribution of topics and ensure a wider reach for the content of the Berliner Zeitung
  • You serve as an important interface to the market bringing together the topics and trends in Berlin and the world with the interests of our users
  • You optimize our content and formats with a focus on visibility through SEO and channelspecific preparation, through good teasers and titles
  • You act analytically based on realtime data and provide targeted feedback directly to the teams
  • You are an important part of the online team and actively develop our digital products
  • You are in constant communication with the editors of the Berliner Zeitung, the Berliner Zeitung am Wochenende, and the online team

Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed a journalism degree or a comparable education/voluntary program
  • You have experience in developing digital products and offerings, particularly in interacting with users
  • You have the methodological tools and use
