THE POSITION HAS A $1000 SIGN ON BONUS


Prevocational services are individually designed to prepare a youth, age 14 or older with serious emotional disturbance, to engage in paid work, volunteer work or career exploration.

Prevocational services are not job-specific, but rather are geared toward facilitating success in any work environment for children whose disabilities do not permit them access to other prevocational services.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years experience working with children or children with severely emotionally disturbed children, OR;
  • Associate's degree plus three (3) years of related work experience with severely emotionally disturbed children.
  • Two (2) years' experience working with transitional age youth or young adults a must.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 per week


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

- working with special needs young adults: 2 years (required)


Ability to Relocate:

  • Bronx, NY: Relocate before starting work (required)
