Project Description:

To support our team at our client in the radio and communication sector, we are currently looking for a Development Engineer Embedded Software (m/f/x) for a permanent position at K-tronik. Sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities:

  • Further development of the functional software ("business logic") of a shortwave radio
  • Implementation of features and bug fixes in the context of interface integration with external devices, based on VITA 49
  • Expansion of VoIP functionalities
  • Maintenance of the CI/CD environment

Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages C and C++, Python desirable
  • Knowledge of processors with Power PC architecture is advantageous
  • Knowledge of embedded operating systems such as OSE RTOS desirable
  • General knowledge in embedded software development and tools such as debuggers
  • Experience in implementing VoIP and VITA 49 desirable
