    THECB is observing a hybrid telecommuting schedule with employees required to be in the office at least two (2) days per week.

    We are located at the George Herbert Walker Bush building located in the capitol complex at 1801 Congress Ave. Austin, TX 78701.

    General Description:
    This position exercises leadership in the outreach and implementation of My Texas Future (MTF), including the statewide direct admissions initiative within the Division of College and Career Advising (CCA). This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of MTF. Responsibilities include establishing strategic partnerships for a rapidly expanding statewide initiative that will serve users across Texas. The candidate should be skilled in stakeholder management, ideally with experience facilitating cross-team communication with project managers, product managers, and content managers through a product life cycle. This position is responsible for creating and delivering high quality trainings and presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders including executive leadership within institutions. An ideal candidate will be proficient in Salesforce as an end-user and have experience with contract management. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Advising Initiatives and Partnerships and works closely with the Senior Director and Assistant Commissioner.

    General Duties and Responsibilities:
    Relationship Management:

    • Serves as the program lead for MTF, including the statewide direct admissions initiative.

    • In collaboration with CCA and agency staff, develop and implement an outreach and communication strategy that increases the awareness and adoption of MTF and direct admissions.

    • Responsible for communication with internal and external stakeholders of MTF program status, enhancements, or new features.

    Presentations & Training:

    • Works with CCA and agency staff to develop and deliver presentations, training, and workshops regarding MTF, including the direct admissions initiative, to internal and external stakeholders.

    • Works with CCA and agency staff to develop and deliver Salesforce community training to institutional partner advisors.

    • May travel up to 10 percent of time, including overnight travel.

    Product Coordination:

    • Provides first-line technical assistance to institutional partner advisors on Salesforce community.

    • Acts as a liaison to ensure cross-team communication with project managers, product managers, and content team to implement a coordinated user experience across CCA initiatives.

    • Develop an improvement and enhancement feedback cycle in close collaboration with the THECB product team that reflects input from internal and external stakeholders and users.

    Administrative:

    • Provides oversight of program through contract management and manages key aspects of the execution of MOUs.

    • Works as a team with other members in the agency to achieve the goals and objectives of the state's higher education plan.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of statewide and national educational landscape, related to college and career advising, and key student transition points.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally, and to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

    • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, organized, concise, professional, and courteous way in both spoken and written form.

    • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and effectiveness in dealing with ambiguity.

    • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and complete tasks with moderate supervision.

    • Ability to adhere to the agency's internal management policies and procedures.

    Qualifications Required Minimum Education and Experience:
    •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    •Four years of relevant full-time work experience, with experience in:odeveloping and managing projects or programs related to college and career readiness, attainment, and success;ogrant and/or program management; andocommunicating interpersonally and publicly with various constituents
    •Master's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the required work experience. Preferred:
    •Experience working on a cross-functional team developing education technology tools or resources.
    •Experience working within student success initiatives in an institution of higher education.
    •Experience in program management and project management software or tools.
    •Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions: Work is performed in a standard office environment and requires:
