Monarch is looking for a hands-on fabrication shop lead

**Required Attributes**

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands on shop experience

Automotive technical or trade school degree

Good verbal and written communication skills

Driven and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work with little to no supervision

Ability to solve ambiguous and over-constrained fabrication challenges

**Ideal Candidate Capabilities and Skills**

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, CAD models, or verbal instructions

Experience with drill press, shear, press brake, flat pattern generation and cutting, and other sheet metal processes

Experience with MIG and TIG welding processes on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Vertical mill and lathe proficiency

Plumbing of coolant and/or hydraulic systems using both hard and soft lines

Custom fabrication of concept cars, farm implements, or equivalent

Ability to organize and manage a small team of fabricators, machinists, and/or mechanics to complete larger projects
