Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of landscape construction workers, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks and activities on construction sites, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
- Maintain detailed project records, including daily logs, timesheets, and material usage reports.
- Assist with budget management, including estimating costs and tracking expenses.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in landscaping, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
