To expand our team, we are currently seeking a Deputy Kitchen Manager (m/f/d) in 06110 Halle (Saale), Derby Acres, CA. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Our kitchen operates from Monday to Sunday. You will work a 5-day week between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm, depending on the schedule.

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation of meals according to the latest knowledge of nutrition science
  • Assumption of managerial duties, including working and supervising the entire food production in the absence of the kitchen manager
  • Planning and implementation of the menu plan and ensuring all processes within the catering service
  • Ordering, inventory management, and price comparison
  • Compliance, implementation, and monitoring of quality, work regulations, and HACCP guidelines

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a cook
  • Completion of a kitchen master's degree or a comparable degree is an advantage
  • Experience in the field of communal catering
  • Business thinking
  • Good knowledge of food procurement, storage, and processing
  • First leadership experience desirable, as well as social competence
  • Proficient in using computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
