As a designated accounting specialist, you will combine the analysis and valuation of assets with process and project management.

In your role at the investment company of a DAX corporation, you will be responsible for the digitization and implementation of modern standards, in addition to your daily tasks.

You will work on diverse and challenging project and process topics related to capital investment accounting. You and fifty highly qualified employees will be responsible for preparing financial statements according to HGB and IFRS. The entire department works in five teams for the capital investment portfolios of domestic and international clients.

Your challenging responsibilities in capital investment accounting:

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to national and international accounting standards, including assessment and booking of valuations and accruals
  • Participation in technical and/or functional projects related to infrastructure and private equities (e.g. assessment of new products, process and interface optimization)
  • Timely and proper preparation of internal and external reporting (BaFin, Bundesbank, etc.) in accordance with accounting regulations
  • Coordinating, monitoring, and analyzing internal data submissions for compliance with accounting regulations
  • Preparation and quality assurance of externally provided financial statement data and integration into the group reporting system
