We are looking for a dedicated process chemist (m/f/d) to join our new technical laboratory at our Obernburg location and drive the market entry of our products.

You can expect exciting and challenging tasks with room for creativity:

  • Development of new chemical and process engineering solutions for efficient synthesis of battery electrolytes
  • Scaleup of intermediate and final products from the laboratory to the technical scale in collaboration with process engineers and the R&D team
  • Planning, preparation, execution, evaluation, and documentation of chemical reaction approaches
  • Technical leadership of employees
  • Compliance and enforcement of applicable legal and internal safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality objectives
  • Optimization of processes and workflows

Job-specific requirements:

  • Completed degree in organic/technical chemistry, preferably with a PhD
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, leadership experience desirable
  • Solid knowledge of organic chemistry and scaleup of chemical reactions
  • Experience in process optimization and screening of reaction parameters
  • Experience with reactors and reaction technology
  • Practical approach to complex problems.
