Bell Construction, an award-winning, full-service Class A commercial general contractor, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Self-

Perform Trades:
Perform various construction tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall, carpentry, doors & hardware installation, and site clean-up.

  • Crew Coordination: Manage and coordinate the demolition and drywall crews to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Layout and Material Take-Offs: Conduct project layout and material takeoffs to determine necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Material and

Equipment Management:
Track, order, and maintain materials and equipment for ongoing projects.

  • Trade and

Subcontractor Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate all project trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Project Schedule Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Quality Review: Inspect construction quality regularly to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Inspection Coordination: Schedule and coordinate required inspections with relevant authorities.
  • Delivery and

Staging Coordination:
Manage deliveries and stage materials effectively on-site.

  • RFI Generation: Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify project details and address any issues.
  • Status Reporting: Report project problems and status updates to the project manager.
  • Punch List Generation: Create and manage punch lists to ensure all tasks are completed to satisfaction.
  • Time and

Material Tickets:
Provide daily time and material tickets for tracking project progress.

  • Receipt Coding: Accurately code all job receipts for project accounting.
  • Weekly Time Sheets: Submit weekly time sheets for the entire crew.
  • Site Meetings: Conduct weekly site meetings with trades to review progress and address any issues.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project managers, trades, and subcontractors.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
