Bell Construction, an award-winning, full-service Class A commercial general contractor, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Self-

Perform Trades:
Perform various construction tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall, carpentry, doors & hardware installation, and site clean-up.

Crew Coordination: Manage and coordinate the demolition and drywall crews to ensure efficient workflow.
Layout and Material Take-Offs: Conduct project layout and material takeoffs to determine necessary supplies and equipment.
Material and

Equipment Management:
Track, order, and maintain materials and equipment for ongoing projects.

Trade and

Subcontractor Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate all project trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.

Project Schedule Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the project schedule to ensure timely completion.
Quality Review: Inspect construction quality regularly to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Inspection Coordination: Schedule and coordinate required inspections with relevant authorities.
Delivery and

Staging Coordination:
Manage deliveries and stage materials effectively on-site.

RFI Generation: Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify project details and address any issues.
Status Reporting: Report project problems and status updates to the project manager.
Punch List Generation: Create and manage punch lists to ensure all tasks are completed to satisfaction.
Time and

Material Tickets:
Provide daily time and material tickets for tracking project progress.

Receipt Coding: Accurately code all job receipts for project accounting.
Weekly Time Sheets: Submit weekly time sheets for the entire crew.
Site Meetings: Conduct weekly site meetings with trades to review progress and address any issues.
Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project managers, trades, and subcontractors.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
