The city of Mabank, TX is currently seeking a
Roadmaster (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position, but part-time is also possible.


The Department of Civil Engineering, within the Department of Construction, primarily handles all tasks related to roads, paths, squares, and engineering structures, and thus performs tasks with a high public impact.

We build, maintain, and manage the municipal road and path network independently and work hand in hand with other public service providers to direct traffic on the roads and ensure traffic safety.

Your range of tasks includes much more than just traditional "road construction".

YOUR TASKS

  • Fulfillment and coordination of mandatory tasks in the course of traffic safety for 112 km of municipal roads, including their culverts, 52 bridge structures, cycling and hiking trails, and water engineering facilities
  • Coordinated maintenance management, setting up control plans depending on the condition and use of municipal facilities, evaluating control results, allocating financial resources, planning, controlling, and implementing measures on existing objects to restore traffic safety and accident prevention
  • Participation in construction projects of third parties (excavation permits and surface acceptance)
  • Preparation of performance specifications and contracts for machinery, construction services, and framework agreements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed training as a roadmaster, alternatively statecertified technician,
