Skyview High School has openings for Summer School Teachers


Session 1 -
June 3rd - June 14th

7:30am - 2:30pm


Session 2 -
June 17th - June 28th (closed on June 19th)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration regarding student performance and progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Meet professional teacher education requirements of school and state
  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Knowledge of relevant technology
  • IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.


Medium Work:

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
