Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) for Freight Cars


in the Technical Services - Railways - SFZ Maintenance department, starting as soon as possible at our location in Profen.

Your responsibilities

  • Conducting damagerelated inspections on rail vehicles
  • Proper execution of maintenance and repair measures for railway vehicles in accordance with maintenance regulations and the requirements of railway operations and all safetyrelated guidelines
  • Performing testing and measurement activities and preventive maintenance on freight cars
  • Troubleshooting based on analysis of the problem and subsequent error correction
  • Responsible for component and part replacement in connection with repairs and revisions of freight cars, locomotives, and auxiliary vehicles

Your profile

  • Completed training as an industrial mechanic, locksmith, mechatronics technician, or equivalent
  • Experience in the maintenance of freight cars
