Your Responsibilities:


Are you looking to take a new path? Through internal training at our ROTTLER Academy, you will be trained as an assistant in optometry (IHK).

The theory will be taught in a classroom setting.

At the end of the training, you will take a written and oral exam - and receive an IHK certificate.


  • Support of the optician's assistant and master in their field of work
  • Ensuring a smooth process in the sales area
  • Greeting customers
  • Selling eyeglass frames and sunglasses
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Documenting orders
  • Inventory management
  • Minor repairs

Your Profile:


  • Completed vocational training as a retail salesperson (e.g. hotel, perfumery)
  • Interest in fashion and enjoyment in interacting with customers
  • Charismatic personality with a positive mindset
  • Desire to learn new things
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient in German spelling and punctuation
  • Computer skills
  • Conscientious, structured, and independent work ethic
  • Friendly and openminded, even under pressure
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and reliability
