- Create the project model in Autodesk Revit or AutoCad, including preparation of proposal drawings, approval drawings, shop drawings, and final field use drawings.
- Generate RFI's to assist job clarity on an as needed basis.
- Review drawings, plans, specifications and other customer documentation.
- Attend and participate in project specific meetings to determine the most efficient project design while following scope of work, and coordinate with internal and construction schedules.
- Identify opportunities for improvement (value engineering) and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Dant Clayton products and their applicability to project requirements.
- Shows dimensions, material to be used and other information necessary to make detailed drawing clear and complete.
- Communicate details/complexities to ensure an accurate release of information to manufacturing.
- Operates in a cross-functional capacity; as workflow demands change it may be necessary to support other production requirements as part of the project team.
- Works to help reduce errors and improve drawing standards for external and internal use.
- Watches to make sure own project task follows key metric's; Correct, On Time, and On Budget.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background in architecture or engineering. Preference towards Architectural CADD degreed program or similar. Will also consider combinations of education and relevant experience.
- Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and/or previous experience.
- Must have experience with REVIT.
- A general understanding of construction practices and principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate a small project (or defined portion of a larger project) from concept through construction documentation.
- Self-starter who is focused, articulate, well organized, and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, and familiarity with other 3D software and Bluebeam Revu, and Office Products.
- Passion for technological advancement and personal growth.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Job Summary:
