Description

The Custodian maintains the cleanliness of common area appearances of facilities and its grounds to ensure a quality experience for residents.

• Maintains a clean and orderly environment
• Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas on routine daily basis
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
• Industrial Cleaning of common/high traffic to include frequent dusting, sweeping, mopping/buffing tile or concrete floors, vacuuming/shampooing carpets, washing storefront windows, etc.
• Assists with turnover cleaning of residential units when assigned
• Ability to complete basic household repairs such as unclogging drains, patching and painting walls, etc.

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds and the ability to climb stairs & ladders as needed
• Knowledge of cleaning products and tools
• Fluent in English
• Minimal Weekend Hours
