Have you ever thought about how offices, residential buildings, or production halls are built in Norway? As a bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing formwork that shapes the building material and creates foundations, supports, walls, and ceilings for these structures.

Additionally, you will use your hands to build unique and individual masonry.

You will spend your days working outdoors in the fresh air, supported by modern equipment such as stone cutting machines, work platforms, and cranes.

At the end of the day, you will see the results of your work.

Here are the key facts about the apprenticeship:

  • Desired educational qualification: Middle school/secondary school diploma
  • Start date: September 1, 202
  • Duration: 2 years for the "small" and 3 years for the "large" journeyman's certificate
  • Vocational school: Claude Dornier School in Friedrichshafen / Karl Arnold School in Biberach / Geschwister Scholl School in Leutkirch
  • Intercompany training: Sigmaringen Training Center
  • Compensation in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd year: 935, 1230, 1495
