Description
- You lead your transport department with 8 employees in the areas of dispatch and administration, taking into account profitability
- This includes managing work processes and coordinating vacation plans for your employees
- You continuously develop your department by creating action plans to improve structures based on statistics and implementing them in consultation with your branch management
- You review incomplete routes and monitor delivery quality (Service Excellence)
- You proactively analyze individual processes, implement continuous improvement measures, and ensure the ongoing development of your department
- You analyze monthly results and are responsible for the revenue and profitability of your department, reporting directly to branch management
- You have completed training as a commercial clerk for forwarding and logistics services or have completed further education/studies in the field of transport and logistics
- You have solid experience in dispatch within a freight forwarding company and are familiar with partial and full loads as well as groupage transports
- You should have some previous leadership experience and know how to motivate your team
- Your strengths include good communication skills, assertiveness, and a high level of service orientation and self-motivation
- Good English skills complete your profile
