2020 Companies is hiring a part-time Brand Representative, representing our client, Dell.

About the Job


The Dell Brand Representative (DBR) will primarily be responsible for building relationships and brand awareness inside of retail stores, on behalf of Dell.


Day-in-the-Life as a Dell Brand Advocacy Representative

  • Typically work Friday
  • Saturday
  • Schedule is flexible to create a positive work/life balance as well as meet the needs of the business
  • Incentives will be provided based on designated sales goal performance for Dell products
  • Build partnerships and trust with key stakeholders inside of stores, including shoppers and retail associates
  • Travel within assigned territory to physically visit various retailers, generating brand excitement from managers and retail associates

Shopper Experience

  • Enhance the Dell brand experience for shoppers
  • Demonstrate and promote Dell products at retailers in the assigned market
  • Be the instore resource to answer questions, discuss product features and provide handson demonstrations
  • Ensure all retailer sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on the unique selling points of Dell devices
  • Conduct experience events to engage Retail Sales Associates and customers

Brand Presence

  • Confirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to use
  • Ensure Dell's retail brand standards are maintained by inspecting branded displays and marketing materials
  • Conduct survey of instore branded fixtures and displays and record findings
  • Partner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issues
  • Execute resets, including placement or removal of devices and marketing material

Market Intelligence

  • Provide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailers
  • Collect consumer insights weekly
  • Gather intelligence from stores which are exceeding sales performance
  • Provide data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentiment

Career Opportunity
2020 Companies has extensive and paid technology training courses for you prior to your start date. While prior knowledge of technology is helpful, it is not a requirement.

We are looking for people who strive to have genuine interactions to create brand advocates for Dell amongst store associates and shoppers.


  • Build brand and promotion awareness with stores associates and instore leadership
  • Build effective professional relationships on behalf of 2020 and client at both the store and customer level
  • Educate customers and retail associates and make product recommendations
  • Schedule and participate in assisted sales events
  • Deliver and communicate key promotional and product launch materials
  • Build and maintain brand presence through increased shelf space and product placement
  • Effectively assess and communicate onsite needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc
  • Responsible for accurately scheduling, tracking, and communicating all activity

Performance Measurements:


  • Visit one or multiple store locations on a daily, based on route, territory, or seasonality
  • Effectively execute promotional activities inside each location during all visits
  • Demonstrate an ongoing ability to establish, maintain and influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement and consistent productivity
  • Complete all training courses provided by 2020, Dell, and Retailers

Qualifications:


  • High energy, outgoing, detailoriented, selfsufficient, selfstarter who's proficient in building lasting relationships
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6+ months previous retail experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong multitasking skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and staterequired minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
