    *Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Director. *We are looking for a registered nurse with the skills and demonstrated leadership in a hospital for this role on behalf of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. If interested, information is below and apply here for immediate consideration. *Shift: *Days Monday - Friday, 24 hour coverage, _weekend and on-call as needed.


    _*Pay:
    *Pay is based on experience between $133,000 and $216,000 annually (exempt)*Other Incentives*: Benefits (Health, dental, etc.), Tuition reimbursement, and more. *General Position Requirements: * *License:
    • Current California RN license OR temporary CA license. (Must have proof of temp license to submit) \Interim CA Licenses not accepted.
    * *Certification:
    • Current BLS
    * *Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years clinical management and administrative experience in related environment.

    * *Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's in Nursing or related field preferred Unit and Skills Required: The ED is a 45-50 bed unit with a variety of diagnoses including Cardio-vascular patients, bleeding, breathing difficulties, seizures, pain, heart attack, stroke, and trauma. .
    • State and Federal regulations, including Title 22 and all other regularly requirements.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills, budgeting principles and procedures; analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of supervisory theories, principles, practices, techniques, and methods.
    • Ability to manage staff and change through collaborative and positive leadership skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, hospital staff, physicians, and patients.

    • Established in 1975, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is a 357-bed acute care, non-profit, community hospital and trauma center located in Valencia, Santa Clarita Valley, California. Known to receive prestigious accreditations and recognition in a multitude of specialty designations for excellence in medicine and healthcare, the hospital offers a full complement of services, including newly opened fitness and health institution, maternity department, cancer program, advanced primary stroke center and spine and joint program. The hospital is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a STEMI Receiving Center, as well as part of the Los Angeles County Disaster Resource Center (DRC) network. Located in a lovely area - North of LA, very family oriented. The units are like a family, length of service in the facility is long. A lot of CNA assistance which RN's love. Level II Trauma Center - 356 beds.
