JOB DESCRIPTION

Machine and Plant Operators work in various production areas of the economy. They prepare work processes, set up production machines and systems, check their functions and put them into operation. They also monitor the production process and control the material flow. In addition, they inspect and maintain machines at regular intervals to ensure their operational readiness.

The training period is 2 years and is offered in five different specializations. At LAPP, the training takes place in the specialization of 'Metal and Plastic Technology'.

The training at LAPP mainly takes place in the production areas of our sister companies at the Stuttgart location.

► Your tasks will include:

Setting up and operating machines and systems in production

Controlling and monitoring the material flow

Selecting and applying testing methods and tools

Selecting and processing materials according to technical documents

Selecting and applying manual and mechanical production techniques

Using control and regulation devices

Inspecting and maintaining machines and systems, as well as troubleshooting

Carrying out quality assurance measures

Considering environmental protection, occupational safety and economic requirements

Documenting production data
