Technical Assistant (m/f/d) Plant Cell Culture


Are you looking to join a dynamic and motivated team and take on the latest challenges in plant cell culture? Then join us as soon as possible as our new Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for our Plant Cell & Transformation Technology group at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Fresno. In our team, you will conduct experiments on the induction of doubled haploid plants through in vitro regeneration methods for various plant species. You will work in modern laboratories, greenhouses, and climate chambers.

This role is a two-year temporary position within the framework of parental leave and is full-time. Here's what you can expect from us:

  • Harvesting of donor plant material in the greenhouse
  • Conducting experiments on plant regeneration through androgenesis and gynogenesis methods
  • Cultivating plants until they can be transferred to the greenhouse
  • Detailed documentation of experiments in an electronic database
Bring your strengths:
  • Completed vocational training as a laboratory technician, biological technical assistant, pharmaceutical technical assistant, or Bachelor of Science in natural sciences
  • Practical experience in plant tissue culture
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with databases
