Overview:
We are seeking _Caring _individuals to join our family, at Samaritans At Last.
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support with daily activities and personal care.
Looking to fill several different shifts. Shifts are located in Philadelphia, Berwyn and surrounding areas. Vehicle is A Must We are looking for serious individuals to care for our clients.Schedule:
- We are looking to fill more than one position.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders if needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help clients with mobility issues and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Support individuals with dementia care or other illnesses
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate empathy
- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs
- Capability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
- Familiarity with social work systems and protocols for providing quality care
