Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tissue culture and carry out experiments using cell lines and primary cells.
- Evaluate analyte levels by various techniques such as quantitative PCR, western blotting, and ELISA.
- Utilize fluorescence and luminescence detection techniques for proof of concept experiments to initiate assay development.
- Conduct mechanism of action studies to further characterize drug molecules of interest.
Job Qualifications:
General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) required
- BS or MS degree in immunology, molecular biology, cellular biology, or similar is required.
- Previous experience working in a research laboratory is strongly preferred.
- Experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to design and execute experiments independently.
- Must be proficient in using MS Office, and experience with GraphPad Prism is a plus.
