Siegwerk USA in
Elk Grove Village, IL is looking for an
InHouse Ink Technician. This position will perform a broad range of technical tasks pertaining to daily ink room management and operation under the direction of the Ink Room Manager.

12 Hour Shifts

Responsibilities

Assists customer with ink room operations.
Coordinates job set up for presses.
Formulates and blends inks as required.
Maintains inventory control standards.
Organizes inks for press runs.
Returns inks from press to appropriate area.
Performs pressside color matching.
Operates color computer.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience working with solvent ink is preferred.
Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required.
Knowledge of basic computer operating and a good working knowledge of IMS.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
