ZuBaKa stands for Zukunftsbaukasten (Future Building Blocks).
We are a social start-up and improve the educational opportunities for children and teenagers with immigrant backgrounds or social disadvantages.
For the school year 2023/24, we are looking for dedicated students to implement our future building blocks at schools in the Gießen area.
In our "Future Building Block Graduation" program, we support small groups of five students in preparing for their secondary school graduation and entering the workforce.
Job Details & Responsibilities
- Start date: July 1, 202
- Working student with approximately 15 hours/week
- Team building and intensive preparation through scout meetings and training formats
- Independent preparation and implementation of projects
- Regular participation in digital or inperson team meetings
- Collaboration and coordination with teachers and social workers
What you should bring
- You are interested in having a meaningful parttime job during your studies.
- You enjoy working with children and teenagers.
- Ideally, you have previous experience in the specific building block focus, such as tutoring for the Graduation building block or leading youth groups for the Democracy & Participation and Getting Involved & Starting building blocks.
- You are passionate about the topics
