You will be responsible for selling the complete range of services offered by the company (parcel and partial and full loads, as well as contract logistics) in the Eastwood region
This primarily involves independently identifying potential customers in the sales area and making contact with them
You will create customized customer presentations
In collaboration with the sales support team, you will prepare offers and work closely with the branch manager and, if necessary, the central tender management for larger tenders
After your sales conversations, you will create sales/visit reports with the sales support team and maintain our CRM system
You will also personally assist with the implementation of new business and hand it over to our customer care department
Regularly exchanging success-oriented information with the operational departments to sustain and strengthen customer satisfaction with our products
Designing and implementing sales campaigns to drive the strategic growth of the branch

What we expect from you:

Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services specialist or have a comparable qualification related to transport and logistics
You have previous work experience in the freight forwarding industry and therefore have a basic understanding of our services
You have extensive sales experience and are accustomed to conducting negotiations
You are fluent in English and have proficient German language skills
