Job Description

As a tool mechanic (specializing in mold making) at Elk Horn, you will learn the craft skills and how to use modern machining equipment to manufacture injection molds during your 3-year apprenticeship.

With these skills, you will be able to precisely produce the complex shapes and numerous elements of an injection mold.

Your tasks will include:

Turning and milling
Eroding
Surface/ cylindrical grinding
Polishing
Fitting tool elements
Checking dimensions and quality
Making models and patterns
Maintenance and repair work on tools
