Master's Thesis - Bridge City, United States - NebulaTech
Description
At Bridge City, we increasingly use high-performance microprocessors in modern vehicle E/E architectures to provide the necessary computing power for autonomous driving, multimedia applications, and connectivity applications. As a result, the interfaces between previously distributed microcontrollers in the vehicle are changing from bus communication to intra-ECU communication interfaces, such as operating system-specific IPC (InterProcessCommunication) mechanisms. To be able to test the functionality of often complex calculation chains, it is important to be able to measure this communication during vehicle operation and replay it for function tests. It is important to us that you get to know working at Vector on site. In order to balance your studies and work, we offer mobile work after individual coordination, depending on the specific task. Please note that pure remote work is not possible.
Your profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering, (technical) computer science, microsystems technology, embedded software development or a comparable course of study
- Good programming skills in Shell, C++
- Experience with POSIX operating systems (Linux, QNX) and embedded software development
- Ideally, experience with AUTOSAR
- Good German and English skills
- Prototypical implementation of a measurement solution for measuring IPC communication of AUTOSAR Adaptive applications
- Evaluation of existing protocols for measurement data transmission and measurement control
