QA Tester

Responsibilities:

Oversees all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect management, status reporting, review and sign-off acquisition, and summary reporting.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development, QA, and software release processes.
Collaborate with Product Owners and IT Delivery Leads to determine test scope and identify the necessary data/infrastructure for testing.
Develop comprehensive test scenarios/scripts based on feature and user story documentation.
Coordinate UAT reviews and presentations with business owners, ensuring signoffs and approvals are obtained.
Effectively communicate testing processes and procedures to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Interact with technical and nontechnical individuals, including educating, persuading, and negotiating, while collaborating with systems and development staff to gather and interpret technical information.

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:

Have experience with Rest API testing using tools like Postman, Mulesoft platforms, etc.
HBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or possess 2+ years of experience as a Tester, taking ownership of test plans, scripts, and test execution.
Display understanding of testing techniques and proficiency in agile methodologies.
Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills, paying meticulous attention to detail.
Exhibit excellent knowledge of SQL for analysis, reporting, and data corrections.
Previous exposure to testing tools and automated testing is preferred.
Possess knowledge of the Payment, Banking and Financial domain (preferred but not required)
