The community of Lengede (approx. 14,500 inhabitants) in the district of Peine, centrally located between Braunschweig, Salzgitter and Hildesheim, is seeking several

Educators (m/f/d)

with state recognition

for permanent employment
These positions require a weekly working time of 30 to 39 hours. Below 30 hours, only limited part-time suitability is possible. The remuneration is in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service (pay group S8a TVöD). In addition to the collective benefits, the community of Lengede offers subsidies for public transportation (job ticket).


What will be your main tasks?

  • Implementing the educational concept of the institution
  • Covering care times
  • Organizing and shaping daily group activities
  • Individual support of children
  • Planning and conducting educational activities
  • Conducting parent meetings

What requirements do you need to fulfill?

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a staterecognized educator
or

  • Expected successful completion of vocational training as a staterecognized educator in summer 2024

What else is expected?

  • Enjoyment and empathy in working with children
  • Reliability, sense of responsibility, resilience and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team
