Position Title:
Command and Control Systems Integrator


Location:
Camp Pendleton, CA


Introduction:


Rivet Operations Company ("Rivet") has an opening for a Command and Control Systems Integrator to join our rapidly growing team in the Camp Pendleton, CA area.

This position will be in support of the I Marine Expeditionary Force Command Element (I MEF CE) providing Technical Support Services for the G-6/Communications Section.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with mínimal guidance:

  • Support the staff sections by coordinating and de-conflictingC4 systems integration with higher, adjacent, and supporting organizations within the Department of Defense which may affect the MAGTF command and control network and critical systems as defined by I MEF stakeholders.
  • Discover, request, and maintain C2 systems ports and protocols for pertinent MEF C2 systems and coordinate requests within the I MEF G
  • Support and assist in the integration of warfighting systems within I MEF to support operations and exercise objectives to include but not limited to ensuring network firewalls and virtual local areanetworks (VLAN) are established to enable C2 systems functionality on garrison and tactical domains.
  • Support and coordinate with I MEF staff sections to support project management for C2 systems and information technology in support of garrison and tactical functions.
  • Coordinate with the staff sections to help sections identify and prioritize information exchange requirement and pertaining systems that support each phase of an exercise/operation supporting Command and Control in a Denied or Degraded Environment (C2D2E).
  • Support development and execution of appropriate Information Management Concept of Operations (CONOPS), plans, and annex U. Provide governance and oversight on the employment and integration of C2 systems in accordance with I MEF techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP).
  • Advise on the creation of Technical Directives (TECHDIRs) and Operational Directives (OPDIRS) to assist with the deconfliction of the C2 communications architecture.
  • Develop and assess operational metrics, analyze feedback, and recommend the integration and employment of new technologies.

Job Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Management information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (Exam MS900) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner Certification.
  • Possess the requisite certification per DoDD , CompTIA Security+ preferred.
  • Have 4+ years' experience commissioned or staff noncommissioned officer military experience, (active) at an operational or joint level specifically at the MEF, Major Subordinate Command (MSC) or Marine Forces (MARFOR) Level. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.
  • Have familiarity of staff processes and battle drills at a higher headquarters level, specifically at the MEF MSC or MARFOR Level. Equivalent commissioned experience at a sister service Operational Planning level is acceptable.
  • Be knowledgeable in the integration of Intelligence, Maneuver, Fires, Logistics and Collaborative C2 Systems. Specifically, have working knowledge of MEF Operational Orders and process, and demonstrate the ability to understand IM system requirements from Annex K, U, and B of the MEF Operational Order.
  • Have 4+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Hold an Industryrecognized project management certification.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.

Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.

There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.

Possible lifting up to 40 lbs.
