Description

Upperville is currently seeking a Site Supervisor for our offshore wind project.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing a designated section of cable installation, working closely with subcontractors and reporting to the Site Manager.

The role will involve managing the project through its various phases, including engineering, installation/operation, and construction.

Key responsibilities include daily site monitoring, supervising work progress, ensuring installation compliance, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.

The Site Supervisor will also collaborate on civil engineering aspects to ensure timely completion of the onshore cable route.

They will contribute to the preparation of technical specifications for cable construction and installation, as well as participate in the preparation, negotiation, and award of supply contracts.

Additionally, the Site Supervisor will strengthen interfaces with other work packages and ensure subcontractors adhere to contractual requirements and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and extensive professional experience in the field, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Fluency in English and German is required, as well as a strong technical background in onshore energy projects or high and low voltage electrical equipment.

Prior experience in cable installation, electrical infrastructure, or telecommunications projects is preferred.

The ability to travel and stay on site as needed, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards are also important qualifications.

This is a long-term opportunity, with the possibility of remote work during preparatory phases and a mandatory local presence in North Germany
