Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Sweep and clean production areas, including floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Assist with maintaining a strong safety culture by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Enter production data into computer systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills required.

Union and Benefits:

This is a union-based company, and after 60 days, the Utility Worker will join the union and receive full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement plan.

Physical Requirements:

The Utility Worker will need to be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.

They must also be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.


Salary:
From $20.81 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vernon, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
