DB Energie GmbH is the energy manager of Deutsche Bahn for the railway in Germany.

This means we are responsible for the operation of the 16.7 Hz railway power grid, 50 Hz systems, 110kV railway power lines, the direct current supply of the Hamburg and Berlin S-Bahn, as well as for renewable energies, such as the charging infrastructure for battery trains.
