The
Aircraft Mechanic (AH-64 Armament Specialty) is responsible for troubleshooting any malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

This position is located in Georgetown, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks on military tactical aircraft, with a focus on AH64D/E models.
Repair and modify various Army and other DoD crossservice aircraft, including major assemblies, subassemblies, components, and related systems.
Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission.
Align and install fuselage parts, tail rotor assemblies, and flight control systems.
Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and ground equipment.
Inspect and troubleshoot to identify the cause of malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or replacements.
Utilize a variety of hand tools, measuring devices, and test equipment specific to the aircraft models.
Determine when faulty systems or assemblies can be repaired or require replacement.
Direct lowergraded mechanics in the assembly, modification, and checkout of entire aircraft.
Coordinate with other trades, such as general mechanics and sheet metal workers, to ensure proper sequence of aircraft assembly.
Maintain accurate records and forms related to aircraft maintenance.
