Position Summary:


As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Greet guests warmly, assist them with seating, and provide menus.
  • Take orders accurately and promptly, ensuring that special requests and dietary preferences are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to presentation and quality standards.
  • Ensure that orders are delivered accurately and promptly to the correct tables.
  • Familiarize yourself with the casino's menu offerings, including food and beverage selections.
  • Offer recommendations and provide information about menu items to assist guests in making choices.
  • Establish a positive rapport with guests, engaging in friendly conversation and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Present bills to guests and provide change as needed.
  • Set up and prepare tables for guest dining, ensuring that table settings are clean and attractive.
  • Assist in clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and coordinated service.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, verifying the legal drinking age and following casino policies.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.

Position Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, for interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
