Social pedagogue (m/f/d hours)

KJF Social Services Ostallgäu-Oberland is seeking a social pedagogue (m/f/d) for youth social work at Wilhelm-Conrad-Röntgen-Mittelschule in Weilheim. The position will be filled on January 1, 2024 as a part-time employment with 19.5 hours per week. The position is permanent.


Your responsibilities:
As a social pedagogue (m/f/d) at KJF Social Services Ostallgäu-Oberland, you will be part of a dedicated team that works towards the promotion and support of children and adolescents


Your tasks will include:

  • Individual support through counseling, guidance, and assistance for socially disadvantaged and individually impaired youth
  • Implementation of social group work
  • Cooperation and networking with the school and other institutions and services for children and youth
  • During school holidays, the weekly working hours will be reduced to 22.75 hours

Our requirements:

  • Completed degree in social pedagogy or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in working with children and adolescents
  • Knowledge of school social work is desirable
  • Empathy, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Willingness for further education and reflection on one's own work
