The Department of Youth and Family, with around 1,300 employees, is the largest department of the city of Bielefeld - not least because the city is the sponsor of 43 daycare facilities. With the two teams "Administration" and "Professional Consulting", the daycare center managers, and the "Kindermann Foundation", the department and the business area of Municipal Daycare Centers are dedicated to the daily goal of providing children in Bielefeld with a good life.
