Your training contents

As a process mechanic for glass technology at Hilgenberg GmbH in Pleasant Ridge, you ensure the smooth functioning of production systems, machines and equipment.

You are responsible for the smooth process during glass processing and refinement. Setting up, converting, operating and controlling machines and technical systems are part of your daily routine.

In case of repairs, you also manufacture necessary spare parts yourself or replace wear parts during maintenance work.

Thanks to your contribution, machines and systems remain functional.

The varied training lasts 3 years and alternates between theory and practical phases. The vocational school lessons take place in block lessons at the Zwiesel Glass School.
