"Overview
As a member of our team, the Behavioral Health Specialist provides direct services to children and families as outlined in individualized Wraparound plans of care, working independently in homes and various community settings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete initial and ongoing training in Wraparound values and program implementation.
- Provide support services and skills training to children and families.
- Collaborate with family, facilitators, clinicians, and professionals to ensure a safe environment.
- Actively model and engage in Wraparound principles.
- Build cooperative relationships with clients and community resources.
- Modify interventions to be culturally competent.
- Produce required documentation including billing and meeting notes.
- Participate in the 24hour crisis response system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences OR four years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Criminal background clearance.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to intervene in crisis situations with minors.
- Alignment with Olive Crest's mission, vision, and values.
- Eligibility to work under mental health funded programs.

Pay:
$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
