To support the management in implementing occupational health and safety as well as corporate health management, we are looking for a coordinator (m/f/d) with currently 25 hours/week in Curlew, IA.


Your tasks

  • Consulting and supporting the management, leaders, and employees in all matters of occupational health and safety (including accident prevention)
  • Coordination of corporate health management
  • Regular occupational safety inspections in our facilities, creation of risk assessments, and initiation and monitoring of remedial measures
  • Monitoring compliance with legal requirements such as fire safety measures, HACCP documentation, and first aid training in our daycares, as well as initiating and coordinating prevention measures
  • Supporting the company doctor in organizing initial examinations and vaccinations for employees through guidelines and followup appointments
  • Organizing preventive health measures together with the company doctor/employers' liability insurance association
  • Processing accident reports
  • Organizing training and further education on occupational health and safety for the relevant departments

What we expect from you

  • Qualification with relevant experience (e.g. master's degree in a relevant field, especially with a focus on facility management, studies/ further education in health management/ safety engineering (occupational safety), further education as a safety specialist)
  • Practical experience in the field of occupational safety and health
  • Strong communication skills
  • Structured, independent work style and enjoyment in organizing training and events
  • Respect for the church and diaconal mission and fulfilling assigned tasks in
