JOB DISCRIPTION:
Overview:
Under the direction of the MassHealth Senior Manager of Delivery System Investment, Policy and Workforce, the Program Manager will work with the MassHealth Accountable Care and Behavioral Health (ACBH) team to implement Workforce Initiative programs on behalf of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS).
Scope of Work:
- Support MassHealth leadership in implementation of Workforce Initiative programs
- Provide project management support for the Workforce Initiative programs, including creation and management of workplans, tracking key deadlines and reporting requirements, and creating and maintaining decision trackers
- Support oversight of the vendors that manage Workforce Initiatives programs including:
- student loan repayment
- community health worker trainings
- competency-based trainings
- Support the development and implementation of future Workforce Initiatives
- Summarize findings of data analysis and incorporate pertinent information into project presentations
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Health Care or Business Administration, Public Health, or a health policy related health care field; or equivalent.
- 3 years of related experience in technical assistance provision, program management, or project management
- Communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, to interact with leadership, staff, providers and other stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Medicaid program, especially in the Massachusetts landscape
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
- Structured and processoriented thinker with a strong interest in healthcare workforce sustainability and investment
- Confident taking ownership of workstreams with highlevel direction and guidance, and producing proposed plans of action in a selfdriven manner
- Significant understanding of health care policy and delivery systems reform both in Massachusetts, and nationally
- Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously to successful completion
Required / Desired Skills
