Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Monitor and record vital signs as needed
  • Support individuals with dementia care and those with autism
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks when required

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in senior care or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures
  • Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs, including dementia and autism
  • Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as necessary
  • Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certifications

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour

  • Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

  • Day Shift (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Crofton, MD required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Crofton, MD 21114: Relocate before starting work (required)
