About the company:

You will work in the field of seat development. As part of your role, you will be responsible for the development of foam and cover components in terms of function, properties, costs, weight, quality, timing, manufacturability, and commonality in a vehicle project. You will also drive concept work in the early phase for overall seat components, both front and rear. The ability to work with new digitalization tools completes your profile.

Your tasks:

You are responsible for the design of foam/cover components for the overall seat and the seamless integration of the technical solution into the overall vehicle.
You will develop product and manufacturing concepts with process partners and suppliers.
You will take on the technical leadership of suppliers for foam and cover systems.
In the early phase, you will actively shape new concepts for seat and restraint systems in vehicles.
You will support the further development of digitalization tools for standardization and automation of calculation processes for seat design.
In general, you are responsible for escalation in case of conflicting goals and for preparing decisions to resolve conflicts.
In collaboration with your partners, you will create the innovation offer of the CoC.
