For the Municipal Meeting Center "Warnitzer Bogen"

we are looking for a project manager (part-time / 30 hours) starting on August 1, 2024.

V. (VaV) is active in the areas of children and youth work, social work, and community work. It is non-denominational, non-partisan, and intercultural in its work.

The Municipal Meeting Center "Warnitzer Bogen" is operated as a joint project with the Lichtenberg district of Berlin, Department of Social Affairs.

Your responsibilities
Management of the facility and responsibility for the service operations in terms of content, organization, and personnel

Enforcement and further development of the project concept according to the specific current needs in the neighborhood for people aged 55+

Planning, organization, and implementation, as well as coordination of socio-cultural, intergenerational, and inclusive offers and events, as well as needs-based group activities

Accompaniment of events in the neighborhood in cooperation with local actors

Cooperation and networking with local actors of social services, participation in network meetings (e.g. neighborhood meetings)

Recruitment, support, and supervision of volunteers

Professional guidance of employees of the district office as well as temporary workers (interns, volunteers)

Creation of monthly and annual programs

Quality assurance and evaluation of the work carried out in the facility in terms of its effectiveness

First aid and fire safety officer
