The Department of Order and Environment

Public Order Division is currently seeking a full time Event Management Specialist (m/f/d) E 9 a TVöD, to be filled as soon as possible on an indefinite basis.

A re-evaluation of the position is pending. The city of Frankenthal (Pfalz) (approx. inhabitants) is part of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with approx. 2.4 million inhabitants and is located in close proximity to the major cities of Ludwigshafen/Mannheim and Heidelberg.

The medium-sized center has all the functions of a city, such as schools, including secondary schools, a Waldorf school, kindergartens, sports and leisure facilities, authorities, cultural and social institutions, and healthcare facilities.

The city of Frankenthal (Pfalz) is characterized by a high recreational and leisure value and offers a rich cultural program.

The main tasks include:

independent and responsible planning, organization, and implementation of various events (Christmas market, fairs, special markets, weekly market, local festivals, etc.) for the entire city area, coordination and monitoring of events, follow-up of assigned events, ensuring compliance with safety and traffic-related aspects.

We expect:
training as a administrative assistant or equivalent completed training in the event or event management industry, knowledge of event management with safety and traffic-related aspects is an advantage, initiative and independence, confidence in external representation, quick comprehension and decision-making, teamwork, flexibility in
