Lead Mechanical Engineer Static Equipment (m/w/d)

We are looking for you

To build our CO2-neutral lithium extraction and electrolysis plants in the Upper Rhine Valley in Germany, we are looking for you in full-time (40 hours) and permanent as a Lead Mechanical Engineer (m/w/d) for Static Equipment in Karlsruhe.

What to expect from us:

As part of our Mechanical team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for static equipment such as tanks, heat exchangers, towers, and tanks.
You will monitor and approve designs for static equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company policies, and project specifications.
You will regularly communicate with internal departments, external suppliers, and contractors.
You will keep an eye on project schedules and delivery goals to ensure coordination between internal teams and external contractors.
You will work to identify, escalate, and minimize potential project risks.
Finally, you will ensure comprehensive documentation of all engineering activities for audit readiness, scalability, and knowledge transfer.

What you should bring:

You have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Dipl.Ing. degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
You have extensive professional experience at a senior level, particularly in the area of static equipment such as tanks, heat exchangers, towers, and tanks in chemical or power plants.
You have proven skills in leading and managing diverse engineering teams
