Why do we exist and what do we do?
The educational success of young people in Germany is still closely tied to the socio-economic status of their parents. We want to change that.

Through our work at Quinoa School, we pave the way for children and teenagers to have a self-determined future, regardless of their social and cultural background.

Our school has approximately 170 students in grades 7 to 10, with the majority coming from families receiving social benefits and having a migration background.

We firmly believe that all of our students have great potential that needs to be nurtured and developed. We focus on building strong relationships, developing potential, and preparing for the future. We are looking for a DaF/DaZ teacher for the secondary level starting in the 2024/25 school year.


What will you do with us?

  • You will provide individual support for students who struggle with reading and writing.
  • Through differentiated small group work in German (or possibly in oneonone settings) and targeted support for spelling and reading comprehension, you will address specific difficulties.
  • You will offer extended support for homework in the subject of German.
  • You will assist our German teachers in their pedagogical work by accompanying students in regular classes.
  • If needed, you will teach students with no knowledge of German (welcome class).
  • You will work closely with the German teachers and learning therapists.
  • You will participate in team meetings and case discussions.
